Why is planting trees so important?

Trees absorb toxic carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and give us lovely, clean, pure, free oxygen that we need to breathe!

Trees also provide safe habitats for many species of wildlife, reduce pollution in our waterways, control flooding, help combat climate change and are proven to reduce stress.

Each tree we plant absorbs up to 1/2 a tonne of carbon dioxide throughout its lifetime.
